- Nail Art
The first of the planned events will be held on Thursday 29th September 2011 where attendees will also have the opportunity to meet with industry experts receiving a unique insight into the beauty industry and all the different possibilities it holds.
There will also be fun activities focused on the Retail Industry where learners will be able to have a go at becoming a Visual Merchandiser, dressing a real shop window!

Above is an image of LCBT's students at Skills London 2010 getting interviewed by one of the ehibitions presenters. WorldSkills London 2011 intends to be on a much larger scale!
Eileen Cavalier OBE, founder and CEO of LCBT said, “WorldSkills London 2011 is a fantastic opportunity for the UK and London to showcase all of the wonderful skills young people have and the incredible things they can achieve through vocational training. LCBT are proud to be part of such a positive event and wish all of Team UK at WorldSkills London 2011 the best of luck in the competition in October. The Have a Go events that LCBT are planning will be a unique opportunity for young people to get a hands on experience of the beauty industry that we hope everyone will enjoy.”
Anyone interesting in finding out more about the beauty or retail industry are urged to attend one of LCBT’s Have a Go events. Register your interest and book a time slot for individuals or groups by emailing Chalene.scott@lcbt.co.uk.
